Camping River is located in Ameglia Magra valley: it is a strip of plain where the River Magra flows into in the Ligurian Sea not far from Poets Gulf.
Thanks to its strategic position both in the past and nowadays is an important crossroad of three regions Liguria, Toscana and Emilia- Romagna.
Endowed with a great natural richness of landscapes: from the cost through the plain from the Luni hills , from the Apenines to Apuane Alps where you can find old castles and villages.
In the old times this land was a passage between sea and land for merchants soldiers, men of faith  going to Rome from all parts of Europe.
This  area offers the visitor the chance to discover a world rich of culture, art, wine and food tradition, whose origins go back into the centuries. Certainly a unique experience.
